Mary Jo Peckham Park
A 32-acre Harris County park in Katy that packs in a lot: an indoor pool and fitness center with free classes, two free mini golf courses, a lake stocked with catfish and winter trout, a three-story playground, disc golf and a mile-long walking loop.
Small park, lots to do
Mary Jo Peckham Park is Precinct 4's only aquatic and fitness center, and much of what's here is free: swim and work out indoors, borrow putters for mini golf, fish a lake stocked by Texas Parks & Wildlife, and let the kids loose on a three-story playground. Here's what each part offers.
The Aquatic & Fitness Center
An indoor short-course pool and a gym with free fitness classes, open year-round since 1994.
